1.) Are all participants (students and leaders) required to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ prior to the trip?

Absolutely! You are going out as missionaries to bring the Good News of Christ to others so it is VITAL that you have a personal relationship with Jesus and that you can communicate that to others.

2.) What is the minimum age requirement for a participant on a youth trip?

Middle School or Junior high students MUST be 12 by the time they go on the project. (Not turning 12 during the project.) Senior high students should be 14 by the time of the project.

3.) Will my group be combined with another youth group?

Your group will be combined with others during meal times, praise and worship gatherings and in the dorm rooms. However, they will do ministry with their own team.

4.) For youth trips, what penalties apply if a youth decides not to go on the project?

Full payment will be required for every participant that you register for. If a participant drops out, you may replace them with another participant, assuming they will still meet the individual and training requirements.

AIM projects have a minimum number of participants that are required for a project to take place. AIM reserves the right to cancel a project if that required number is not met.

5.) Can I substitute a participant if one drops out?

Substitutions may be made up to 8 days before the project

6.) For youth trips, how many leaders should I bring? Can I bring more leaders than youth?

We ask that you bring 1 leader per every 6 youth. Yes, you may bring more leaders than youth as long as they understand that the projects are geared for youth and they will be expected to participate in the same ministries.
