Eph.4 and Ecc 4:9 was the inspiration for team building exercise this week. God has joined and fitted us together, but sometimes it may be difficult to understand how we fit in to His plan for His work to be completed. Each team member was assigned a piece of a puzzle. After practicing and demonstrating ATL, each member is to lay their piece when they have heard and understood God's plan for them. On the last night we will find out which team members pieces were connected and see if those members had opportunities to work, share and pray together during the week. One of the team leaders,Jeff, wrote with excitement,... "on 7/14 I found where my piece fit."

Midland Evangelical Free Church team is completing the work. Katie wrote: " Oh my goodness, thank you seems so unworthy a word...but you are really impacting me by showing me God really is there." Michael wrote:..." the teachings are amazing and helpful." Ali says,...motivated us all to want to have a closer relationship with Christ." and Jeannine says, " I've learned so much..." This team learned to be sensitive to God's voice through Listening Prayer, ATL and their application was demonstrated in their prayer walk on the Washington Mall and in their work with the children at Daybreak Ministries. They have helped three churches to develop and build relationships with one another, with them as a team and with the communities in which they serve. Our God is an awesome God!

GOD IS A GOOD GOD! Washington Christian Center, Temple Hills, MD. WCC is our host church this week and will be engaged in community outreach and relationship building with Adventures In Missions youth teams. Our Midland, Michigan Team arrived in safety and are very sweet people of God. These 16 remarkable young men and young ladies have some of God's best youth leaders: Scott, Beth, Jeff and Wendy. . The Daybreak ministry activity with community children has already began to stretch the faith and experiences of our team members. Lincoln Heights, First Baptist Church of Alexandria and Hillcrest Baptist Church are our Partners in Christ, helping and supporting us in prayer, word and deed as we serve together. Team members are delighted that God is using them in ways they did not think would ever be possible. They have had to contend with some minor obstacles, but they have been gracious and resilient.God is blessing us to have rain and cooler temperatures this week. We're excited and in agreement that we will cooperate with God's plan and purpose for us this week
