| Ministry Detail |
Ministry & Outreach:
Come join a small group of college age students on a First Year Missionary Trip to Kenya!
- While based in the slum of Kibera, we will reach into the slum to find youth who are ready to be discipled and challenged in their faith.
- Training a group of Kenyans in missions and evangelism and take our first mission trip ever with the Kenyan youth. Reaching into the country to work with the refugees in the north, the Masai in the central regions and many other tribes including those along the coast near Mombasa.
- Participants will have their own internship to be involved with while we are serving God in the Kibera Slum. But come prepared to rough it! We will be living, eating and traveling as much like the nationals as we can.
There is a desperate need for discipleship in this country. Though many evangelistic efforts have been made in Kenya, many of the nationals still confuse Christianity and other traditional religions because of a lack of discipleship. It is our desire to ignite the spark of discipleship in this country and empower them to evangelize and disciple both their neighbors and the Muslims that are rapidly moving into Africa.
