Ministry Detail

Project Overview:
Get involved in missions and be discipled along the way. We are offering 18-31 year olds the opportunity to get involved in missions by helping individuals get out on to the mission field through our short term trips. This internship would involve working in the office with our admissions team, mobilizing individuals by making phone calls to potential participants, processing applications, gathering paperwork, doing all the necessary things to get someone on to the field. There would also be opportunities to assist with training camps and help lead a Next Step or Short Term trip. On top of that, those in the internship would have weekly Bible studies together, one on one meetings with an assigned discipler from AIM and a chance to get involved with a local ministry.

Ministry Description:
You will have opportunity to get involved in a local ministry in Gainesville. Opportunities will range from helping in youth or children's ministry at a local church, ministering in the hospital or nursing homes, or serving in other areas. We want each one to serve in an area that God has placed on their hearts.

Trip Requirements
- Committed Christian with a desire to grow
- Single adult between the ages of 18-31
- Willing to work and serve in any area needed.
Food & Lodging
You will live in an apartment with the other interns, which AIM will provide for you. You will be given a monthly stipend to cover your personal costs of food and transportation as well as other personal expenses (cell phone, insurance, etc.)
Dress Code & What to Bring
Dress Code:
Modesty is the key at all times. You will be working in an office and expected to dress appropriately. We do have a casual office, so casual attire is acceptable as long as it’s modest and appropriate.

Travel Information
Airport & Transportation:
You will need to provide your own transportation or work it out with another intern who has the transportation.

Shots & Vaccinations:
Tetanus shot up to date.

Suggested Travel Insurance:

We highly recommend all program participants have health insurance coverage for international trips. It is important to know that most regular health insurance plans do not cover you overseas. Health coverage is not a requirement for domestic trips, but still recommended.

Location Information
Location Description:
Located about an hour north of Atlanta, Gainesville is a city of about 30,000 people in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. Our AIM headquarters are located about 10 miles north of Gainesville.
