You’ll have the opportunity to participate individually, in small groups, and as an entire team in various ministry settings around Gainesville and the greater Atlanta area. Whether it’s through partnering with local ministries geared towards Hispanic youth, the elderly, the homeless, or others, you will not lack the chance to go manifest the kingdom of God with your community.
Teaching
Weekly teachings will be brought before you and the group to understand how God has actively been involved in your life by bringing you to the places you presently are, and how to move forward with the dreams that he has for you. Whether individually or corporately, you’ll learn from some of the most influential and inspirational leaders at AIM.
Mentoring
As a ComLife participant, you will be paired up with a leader at AIM who will meet with you one-on-one and give you coaching, encouragement, and a renewed perspective on a regular basis. Your mentor will challenge you to walk in greater confidence using your spiritual gifts and mobilize you to achieve your goals.
Internship
You’ll have opportunities to step into various types of internships during your participation in ComLife. Whether in recruiting, marketing, creative writing/editing, mobilization, web design, or program development, you’ll learn the ins and outs of a missions organization while growing your employment skills and changing the world.
There will be other chances to grow and shift your mind into radical thinking while in ComLife. Your community will attend two mission trips throughout the year within North America. You’ll also have the chance to exercise some leadership skills and become a Real Life leader for short-term mission trips during the summer, although it’s an additional expense that will have to be raised.
