Project Overview:
|
Nicaragua is one of the most impoverished nations in our hemisphere. Despite its close proximity to the U.S., about 80% of Nicaraguans are trying to make ends meet on less than $1 a day. AIM has built strong ties in this country, which give our teams instant credibility and enable them to make an instant impact through sports ministry, English training (always a helpful catalyst for jobseekers), and other gospel-based outreach events. Our teams partner with indigenous missions organizations that stand with us in the fight to bring spiritual renewal and restoration to Nicaragua, one precious soul at a time.

Ministry Description:
|
Our main focus here, as it is everywhere, is to love people selflessly and unconditionally in the name of Christ and help people in any way we can. You will have the privilege of ministering to needy children, many of whom are subject to poverty, pain, hunger, disease and degradation on a daily basis. You can help lift the spirits of a child or an adult who is hungry for fellowship, and starving for something to hope for.
Years of turmoil, warfare, unrest and natural disasters have devastated large parts of Nicaragua, leaving many without proper shelter. You may also have the opportunity to serve on various construction projects for people in need.
