Project Overview:
|
Not quite ready for 11 months on the World Race? Try a month in Haiti. The earthquake that struck near Port-au-Prince left a path of destruction in its wake. Millions of people have been affected, thousands of lives were lost, and many are still missing. All across the world, the Body of Christ is responding to help this impoverished nation recover. We have a vision to see Haiti not only recover, but experience a rebirth. We are organizing efforts to provide immediate relief to those in need and working with partners on the ground to establish long-term rebuilding efforts. This is your chance to be involved in rebuilding a nation.
Please Note: The situation in Haiti is fluid and details of this trip are subject to change, including the final pricing. Our advance team is on the ground now assessing the needs and working through logistics. Our desire is to mobilize the Church for the needs of this hurting nation; please bear with us as we finalize the plans.

Ministry Description:
|
World Race Relief is a one-month mission trip to Haiti. With 48 hours of on-site training at the beginning of the trip and a final debrief to process your eye-opening experiences, this trip promises to be an experience that you won't soon forget. You’ll serve with 30 other individuals for the month, living in tents and ministering to the hurting people you encounter. You will be going where God leads and doing what he directs you to do. In addition to serving victims of the earthquake, you will also get a taste of what life is like on the World Race, as you prepare the way for more teams that will come to Haiti. Expect to see God to show up in miraculous and unexpected ways.
Participants for this mission trip are asked to come with a willingness to serve in whatever capacity needed, a high tolerance for rough conditions, and the ability to easily adapt.
