The Opportunity!
In responding to the worst natural disaster in U.S. history, we followers of Jesus need to exercise our messy compassion. Adventures In Missions (AIM) will be reaching out to the displaced families of New Orleans one at a time with the love of Jesus.

We have set up a base in greater New Orleans with a full-time staff. We have 40+ people in there for a short time, but they’re going off to their ministry centers around the world soon. We want to target New Orleans with the love of Jesus. We want to reclaim New Orleans.

Hurricane Katrina represents the greatest opportunity of our generation to thrust our Church toward radical outreach. We don’t have all the answers. But if we wait to get them before we engage, we’ll be too late.
