Donating Stocks: A gift of stock to Adventures In Missions is a great way to support our ministry while receiving a tax benefit. We will provide a letter of thanks indicating the date of the gift and the number of shares donated. Consult a tax advisor for specific information. In general, the contribution deduction for stocks and bonds held long-term (held 12 months or more), is the mean between the highest and lowest selling prices on the date of the gift where there is a market for listed securities.
