Missions 101: Ask the Lord



This video is about what it means to know God intimately and how meaningful service flows out of that relationship. The best way to serve the Lord is to talk with him and listen.

Exercise:

Apply the concepts of listening prayer that you have learned so far and do an "Ask the Lord" (ATL) exercise.

Spend some time in prayer, asking God for an opportunity to share about Jesus with someone else. You can do this on your own or in a group. If in a group, see if there are any common themes in what people are hearing. You may need to break the group up into smaller teams and do a few different activities.

Once you discern what God is saying, go do it. If doing this on your own, please use discretion and bring a partner or friend along with you, if necessary.

Remember: this is not about doing something "super spiritual" but just about listening and obeying.
