Real Life Mission Teams
“Participating in the RL program was possibly the best thing I have ever done. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to really focus on God and establish my relationship with Him on a level that otherwise I may never have taken the time to develop.”
- Brianna Cherry, 2001 Real Life Team

"Get ready to be stretched! God will stretch you in more ways than you can possibly know"
- Erica Bishop, 2001 Philly Intern Team

Program Overview
Real Life Mission Teams is a ministry training and discipleship for young adults between the ages of 18 to 22. We bring together 7 to 12 individuals to create a ministry/mission team in the Summer and Fall. Real Life Mission Teams place you into an environment where you can truly seek God and experience Him – working in you personally and working through you as you minister to others in a cross-cultural setting. Through creative teaching, training, discipleship, ministry experience, and adventure, we desire to create in you a heightened passion for seeking and serving God in "real life." The program is designed to teach and train. A key component of Real Life Mission Teams is the opportunities for you to put into practice the things you’re learning. Keeping things "real" and "practical" is key to the Real Life program.

The “Real Life Mission Teams” is the combination of two of previous mission programs – "Real Life Teams” and “Missionary Intern Teams.” The Real Life Mission Teams continues to provides the discipleship and training component of the Real Life Mission Teams. In addition, it provides missionary opportunities similar to those of the Missionary Intern program.
