Mission Opportunities for Adults and Families

Mission Trips Aren’t Just For Youth…

An adult mission trip is an incredible experience. It will change both you and your church. It will deeply enrich your faith and drive home the teachings of Christ. Your church will gain a further understanding of how it can take an active role in World missions.

Adventures In Missions (AIM) is a mission agency that mobilizes the Church to meet the challenge of the Great Commission through short-term missions. We have exciting short-term mission opportunities for both Groups and Volunteers:

1. Adult Group Opportunities Adult Project Teams can be made up of 10 - 80 people from one or two local churches. Projects generally consist of three facets: construction, Vacation Bible School for kids, and evangelism. AIM will assist your group in all phases of preparation for your project. AIM offers trips for 
Men's groups and Women’s groups – Step out of your comfort zone…Go on a mission trip! This a great opportunity to serve, grow, plant spiritual fruit, minister side-by-side, and draw closer to those in your fellowship group at church.
Families – Strengthen your family bond by serving on the mission field for a week. This is a vacation that will change your lives and help you build relationships and create memories that will last a lifetime, and beyond. This is a trip for families of all ages, even those with young children. We do not have specific dates for family trips, so contact us and we can explore possible dates for you. 2. Volunteer Opportunities – AIM has opportunities for individual volunteers to assist us run mission projects for groups of high school and college students during the summer. The following opportunities are available:
Project Leader – (Available for adults only) If you have leadership skills and enjoy working with youth, you may want to run an AIM 7-10 day mission projects for youth groups during the summer. A Project Leader organizes and carries out an entire mission trip. We will train you. For large projects you will have Support Staff. Find a trip that fits your schedule with our trip locator.
Project Support Staff – (Available for adults and college students) If you have leadership skills and enjoy working with youth, you may want to assist the Project Leader to run an AIM 7-10 day mission projects for youth groups during the summer. The number of staff varies per project – Larger projects require more Support Staff.
Ambassador Team Leaders – (Available for adults only) If you have leadership skills and are called by God to lead and disciple high school and college students, you may want to be a leader for one of our summer 2½ -4 week Ambassador mission trips. We have opportunities for several leaders for each team.
Intern Team Leader – (Available for adults only) If you have leadership skills and are called by God to lead and disciple college students and young adults who are gaining a practical exposure to missionary life, you may want to be an Intern Team Leader Support Staff for one of our 10-week summer Missionary Intern teams.
Spanish Language Translators – (Available for adults, college students, and high school students) If you have a strong proficiency in the Spanish language, you may want to provide language translation for one of AIM’s mission trips to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Panama, or Costa Rica. We have need for translators with our Mission Projects For Youth, College Break Missions Trips, Ambassador Mission Team, Missionary Internship Team, Men's Mission Trips, and Women’s Mission Trips.
