1.) How do I register for a project?
Please call 1-800-881-2461 or 770-983-5000. When the menu begins, press 2.
2.) What materials do we receive from AIM?
After you register for your project you will receive a copy of Missions 101 (our group leader's training guide), Spanish dictionaries (if going to a Spanish speaking country), daily devotionals/journals for each member of your team and the VBS curriculum you will be using. You will be attending an Equipping Seminar for youth group leaders. Also, you will have the opportunity to host an O2C weekend so you and your team may receive further training.
3.) When do we receive materials?
Once we receive your deposit AND applications, we will send you Missions 101 and your VBS curriculum. Shortly before the beginning of your project, you will receive your journals, T-shirts and Spanish dictionaries (if you are going to a Spanish speaking country).
4.) What is an AIM Equipping Seminar and how much does it cost to attend?
An experienced volunteer will come to a city close to you and cover training for you and your leaders. We would like to better prepare you and your leaders for your upcoming project and to answer any questions you may have. There is no cost for this seminar. If you choose to do an on site weekend (visit the location your group will actually be going to), there will be no charge for you. However, each additional leader you choose to bring there will be a $50 per person fee.
5.) What is an O2C Weekend?
This is a weekend debrief session geared towards implementing your missions experience as a way of life. We will reflect on the ministry experiences your group had on the mission trip and examine your current ministry that is taking place back home. A team will travel to your area to facilitate the conference, which will conclude with a lab time to explore practical application in your location. Click here for more information on O2C Weekends.
