If so, then become a Team Leader for one of our Missionary Intern Teams – You can do mission work as you lead young adults to consider the call of more full-time mission work.

Missionary Internships are 8-week long mission trips during the summer. The internships provide a young adult with the opportunity to explore God's call upon their life for full-time missionary service. This is a “hands-on” missions experience. Students work along side missionaries and/or national pastors to gain a practical understanding and experience of missions and missionary life. AIM’s Intern trips go to the Amazon jungle of Peru, the inner city trenches of Philadelphia, Jamaica, Mexico, and Kenya.

As an Intern Team Leader, you have a variety of responsibilities. You are responsible for the team logistics and daily schedule, ministry opportunities, spiritual discipleship, team unity and relationships, communication and relationships with the national or local pastors and missionaries with which your team will minister, and the funds allotted to the team. You guide the team, foster team unity, direct the spiritual growth of team members, and ensure that team members have the exposure to missions necessary for them to more clearly discern the Lord’s call on their life for more full-time mission or ministry service.

We will provide the required training during a leader weekend scheduled in April. As a leader, you will also be required to remain on the field with your team for the entire duration of the mission internship, including any debrief at the conclusion of the internship.
