Mission Opportunities for Youth

Turn Night Into Day!

As a student, you have what it takes to be light to the world. And you will be transformed as you realize that your relationship with Jesus can lead others out of the night and into the day. The world is waiting to see…Where will your light shine?

Adventures In Missions (AIM) is a missions agency that mobilizes the Church to meet the challenge of the Great Commission through short-term missions. We have a broad offering of short-term mission opportunities available for Groups, Individuals, and Volunteers.

Mission Opportunities for Youth
1. Groups – AIM offers mission trips for church and other types of youth groups:
Church Youth Groups – Take your church youth group on one of these 7-14 day mission trips during the summer. These trips are evangelistic outreaches. We have trips that go to mission fields right here in North America and trips that go to locations across the world. Come and “be the light of Christ” to a dying world.
Home School Associations – Take students from your local home school association on a 3-week mission trip to Europe during the spring. This trip is an evangelistic outreach. It also includes discipleship training. We may even include academic training during your trip to help you fulfill your Home School requirements while you are away from home!
2. Individuals – AIM offers the following mission trips for individual high school or junior high school students. For a side-by-side comparison of these programs, see Programs At-A-Glance.
Summer Ambassador Mission Teams – Join a team of 10 - 20 individual students from other high schools and colleges on a 2-week or one-month summer mission trip. These trips are evangelistic outreaches. Included among the trip's options are soccer and basketball sports evangelism trips and music ministry trips.
Home School Ambassador Teams – Go with other home school students on a 3-week mission trip to Europe during the spring. This trip is an evangelistic outreach and also includes discipleship training. We may even throw in some academic training about Europe so that you can fulfill your Home School requirements while away from home!
Work Crew – Get sweaty! Get dirty! Serve as part of a team for 3-4 weeks at AIM's ministry facility in Matamoros, Mexico by keeping the facility clean and running smoothly. In addition you will receive spiritual discipleship and have ministry opportunities.
Real Life Discipleship and Ministry Training – Join others on this 12-week discipleship and ministry training program called “Real Life.” The program is designed to develop within you a passion for personally seeking and serving God in "real life" and to give you exposure to ministry and missions.
3. Volunteers As Translators – If you have a strong proficiency in the Spanish language, you can provide language translation for one of AIM’s mission trips to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Panama, or Costa Rica. We have need for translators with our Mission Projects For Youth, College Break Missions Trips, Ambassador Mission Team, Missionary Internship Team, Men's Mission Trips, and Women’s Mission Trips.
