We are in search of individuals who want to go on a Journey...
Come join us for five months of intense training and three months of concentrated application, daily being the "skin" of Christ as we wholeheartedly and intently push closer to Him.
What Is The Journey?
It's eight straight months of living as a family in Matamoros, Mexico, seeking God in not only the simplest of ways, but in the "loudest" possible ways, seeking Him as we:
- Plant and water gardens
- Prepare meals together
- Visit orphans
- Dialogue over coffee
- Explore our creativity
- Minister to the poorest of poor
- Experience life together
The Journey is learning to lead and disciple others as we cry, laugh, grow, serve and live together.
How Does The Journey Work?
"The Journey Missions Program" is not so much a program, but more of its namesake--that is, a journey. It is a discipleship opportunity--a journey that is shared with others, and led by those who have been traveling it for some time.
The beauty of this journey is the discovery that awaits you. The Apostle Paul talks of presenting every man and woman complete in Christ, and that is the goal of The Journey, as well (Colossians 1:28). We want to teach others to abide in Christ and walk with Him. This is facilitated through one-on-one discipleship, physical labor, ministry, creativity, art, music, community, and leadership.
The Journey begins with getting to know your mentor. From that comes community. Out of community springs ministry. From ministry comes leadership. From leadership comes pioneering and walking with Christ.
