Church to Church offers American churches the opportunity to partner with sister churches internationally as well as domestically (on Native American reservations throughout the United States). Partnerships focus primarily on building long-term relationships between the American church and sister church to help extend, encourage, and empower each other as we build unity amongst the worldwide body of Christ.

For additional information on Church to Church, please contact us by Email or 770-983-1060 x 2243.

About Church to Church

Church to Church partners American churches with sister churches around the world.

Partnerships focus on building long-term relationships to help extend, encourage, and empower sister churches and build unity amongst the worldwide body of Christ. As a part of Church to Church, we will match your church with a sister church in another country or on one of several Native American reservations right here in the United States.

Through their Church to Church partnerships, American churches have experienced thousands of lives being transformed -- not only in the sister church, but also in their own local congregations. American church partners find themselves blessed beyond belief, receiving just as much as they give.

Church to Church FAQ's

What is the application process for Church to Church?
Simply email us at churchtochurch@adventures.org to get started.
Who do we contact for more information about Church to Church?
Feel free to e-mail us at churchtochurch@adventures.org.
Where can I find more information about Church to Church?
You can download our latest information booklet, watch our promo video, or contact us with specific questions.
How much do Church to Church trips cost?
Prices vary depending on location, but most trips cost around $549 per person for a five-night trip. This covers all costs while you’re in the country, but airfare is separate.
How long are Church to Church trips?
Our basic trip five nights long, but it can be extended as long as desired. Additional nights are somewhat cheaper than the original five-night trip because some charges are not recurring.
Where will we sleep/What do we bring?
We have identified housing in each country where you can stay with safe drinking water and properly prepared food for your needs. Unless your Project Leader tells you otherwise, bring an air mattress, an inflator, a sleeping bag, towel, and pillow. Consult the packing list for more suggestions and helpful hints.
How do we prepare for our mission trip/What will we do on our mission trip?
Each trip will have its own plan, beginning with your church partner's needs. If you've agreed to help meet those needs, we'll mix in your team's gifts and talents to set up a plan to do so. Working with you and the ministry partner in the field, your Adventures Project Leader will blend all the elements into a final dynamic plan. In addition to specific preparations, all plans share the following: (1) above all, we're going to serve Jesus, (2) we'll be most sensitive to the field partner's needs, and (3) we'll expect even the best plan to change.
How do we prepare our hearts and minds?
Choose a mission trip that fits your team. Prepare for any specific ministries you'll be doing but don't bring expectations. Take time to learn about the local people. Ask God to give you an extra measure of love, patience, and compassion for the people you are going to meet. Ask Jesus to send his Spirit ahead of you to soften their hearts and open their spirits to the truth you will bring. Pray for your team and your partner church regularly before you go. And be ready to learn just as much as you give.
How long do Church to Church partnerships last?
We ask you to make a commitment of at least one trip per year for a minimum of three years. This gives you time to build lasting relationships with your partner church.
What does a typical Church to Church partnership look like?
Each trip looks different. Your first trip is what we call a “vision trip" where we take you to your desired country and you work with a selected number of churches during your stay. You will interact with the church members, meet their leadership, minister with them, serve them, and be part of their ministry as a whole. By the end of your stay, you will have a better idea and of which church to partner with. After prayerfully choosing your partner church, you will visit them at least once a year with a team to build a relationship with them.
How can I get my church to consider a Church to Church partnership?
Contact us at churchtochurch@adventures.org, download our information booklet, watch our newest video, and get acquainted with what Church to Church is all about. Then talk to your church leadership about it and introduce us. We will take it from there!
Is my church required to financially support an international church?
No. You may support them financially if you feel led to, but Church to Church partnerships are created to build relationships.
How much is a Church to Church partnership?
There is no fee to have a Church to Church partnership. The only cost for your church is the cost of your trip, airfare, and international health insurance.
What countries does Church to Church have available partnerships in?
Currently, Church to Church partnerships are available in 16 countries - Haiti, Cuba, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Peru, Romania, Moldova, Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, and India. For domestic Church to Church partnerships, see our Native American page.
How does my church choose a country to partner in?
We urge you to look at our list of possible countries and ask the Lord where he would like your church to partner.
Can I go on a Church to Church trip as a single participant separate from a church group?
Currently, we do not offer individual participants on Church to Church trips. We encourage you to speak with your church about going as a group because of the major benefits partnerships offer.
Can my church choose when to take our trips?
Yes. Each trip your church takes is a custom trip designed specifically for your church. You can choose the dates and length of your stay.
Is there an age limit for participants from my church?
Yes. We offer trips for participants age 14 and above. Exceptions can be considered on a case-by-case basis. We also take youth trips with youth leadership involved.
How many times does an American church visit their partner church each year?
We ask that you visit your partner church at least once a year with a group of 12 people or more. However, you may visit as often as you like. We have had American churches visit up to five times a year, but that is more the exception than the rule.
Can I contact Church to Church staff with additional questions?
All questions are welcome. Please email us at churchtochurch@adventures.org.
