Church to Church: Cuba
Cuba leaves a very distinct mark on the globe. Their goods are sold around the world, tourists flock to their beaches, and photographers run to capture things that can't be seen anywhere else. This island nation is a land of ancient charm colliding with modern flair. The longstanding history and continuing distinction make it a unique place of global influence.
However, despite its vibrant spirit, the country itself remains run down. To further complicate economic problems, the country is very inequitable in its spread of wealth. Even though the nation guarantees even wealth distribution, corruption within the government is common, creating a high upper class and a very poor lower class.
Come partner with the local church and be part of the redemptive work of Christ. You could help plant a church. While the government does not officially allow churches to exist, a network of house churches continue to meet for fellowship, encouragement, and spread of the gospel. Your willing spirit to talk work with underground pastors could help the spread of the gospel to places that often go unreached.
Cuba has everything set for change. All it needs is someone willing to partner with the church and do the work. Will you consider partnering your church with a church in Cuba?
