We continue to move forward with plans to have our missionaries received by squad leadership at airports around the country. We still plan to debrief our teams as has been previously communicated. As has been the case throughout this transition, things have been changing quickly. Given some recent changes we want to communicate the following:
We do believe it is important for our participants to participate in the debrief if possible.
Individual cities that are serving as ports of entry for our racers are starting to initiate strict guidelines. We plan to adhere to these guidelines as they are released.
Today, the Federal Government initiated a guideline for meetings of people to not be greater than 10, which we will instruct our leaders to adhere to.
We have hotel accommodations being set up, but there are significant closures starting to occur that could impact these arrangements. We will continue to work around the clock to take care of our participants.
In any case we will have people on the ground to support our missionaries in debriefing and other needs as they arise.
In the coming days, we will continue to strategize about how to take care of our participants well as they return home. We remain focused on getting everyone home as our top priority and our ability to answer individual emails or messages remains limited. As things change quickly, the returning missionaries will have the most up to date information related to possible flight or schedule changes. Our ability to keep parents or other points of contact fully up to date on those is limited. Please check with your son or daughter or ask for other parent input on the Parent FB pages for the most recent updates.
Thank you for continuing to walk with us through this time. We deeply appreciate your prayers!
