Ecuador

Ecuador is a small country in South America but it is big on culture, hospitality and adventure. Its active volcanoes and lush jungles as well as the Galapagos Islands attract thousands of tourists every year. Known for its relatively stable economy, it has recently become a large hub for refugees from Venezuela. God is doing amazing things in Ecuador as the local church is being strengthened to reach their neighbors with the Gospel.

Serve alongside our ministry partner and Adventures in Missions Ecuador base, Inca Link! Inca Link is focused on resourcing, enabling and empowering their national Inca Link organizations to reach the 300 million youth in Latin America with Christ’s irresistible love.

SAMPLE MINISTRY DAY
A day could look like having breakfast and a morning devotional with your team before heading out for ministry. Serving vulnerable populations and serving the homeless and refugees in the city. Spending time enjoying the hospitality and intentionality of Fabi and Mabe, joining them for Bible study, discipleship, and fun.

This trip is exciting to me because it’s a different continent, further from home, and I’ve personally always been drawn to the culture and people of South America. Mayans ruins, the mountains, the climate. Three months in one place equals deep relationships and that’s something I really value. Especially working with homeless people and kids, there’s a greater chance for lasting connection and that’s what I’m all about.

THIS SEMESTERS TRIP EMPOWERS YOU TO:

1. Grow with God

1. Grow with God

WHAT IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL THIS TRIP DUE TO COVID-19?

We have an experienced risk management team. They monitor political, health, weather, and other risks in the regions where we serve. We continue to confidently plan impactful trips and adjust when necessary. We won’t launch a trip that isn’t up to our standards of safety. In 2020, we canceled our international trips due to safety and travel restrictions with COVID-19 and gave options to our participants to join us domestically or defer to a later date. We currently feel confident launching this trip. If we have to cancel this trip, or you don’t feel comfortable going, the money you’ve raised can be applied to a different or future trip within the next calendar year.

Process

Step 1: Apply

Step 2: Fundraise

Step 3: Train

Step 4: Launch

Step 1: Apply

You’ll create a profile and complete a questionnaire application and then schedule a phone interview with our team so we can get to know you better. After that, we’ll let you know when you’ve been accepted!

Step 2: Fundraise

Once you’ve confirmed your spot, we will pair you with an Admissions Advisor who will help you with planning, fundraising ideas, and all the logistical information you need to prepare.

Step 3: Train

You will spend the first few days of your trip at our campus in Georgia, training, worshiping and bonding with your teammates before you leave.

Step 4: Launch

You will fly out with your team from the Atlanta airport and begin your semester on mission.

Ever wonder if there’s more to your faith than what you’re experiencing? I can relate.

Jeremy Cearbaugh

I understand how it feels to hear that whisper inside you that there’s got to be more to your faith than what you’re experiencing. That’s why I risked it all, quit my job, sold everything I owned and took off overseas to serve God and His people. I got a taste of the ‘more’ God had for me. 10+ years and 30+ countries later, my team and I now help other young people experience adventurous and purpose-filled moments with God like I had ...one semester at a time.
