My name is Jeremy and I was born in California. My family moved overseas to Indonesia when I was 16 months old and I spent the majority of my childhood there. My heart has been for missions most of my life. I studied Intercultural Studies at a small Bible school in Northern California and went on the Race in 2014 (All-Asia route). I’ve kept running with Adventures since then! I squad lead three World Race: Expedition routes and I am currently mentoring my third squad as well as my first Semesters team! I genuinely love so many of the countries I’ve been to and I definitely have a special love for the 10/40 window: the most unreached places in the world.
Once you arrive in Nepal, you and your team will partner with High Adventure Ministry. Their heart is to share the Gospel with the unreached people of Nepal by building relationships and making disciples. Your team will do a variety of ministry work from spending time in orphanages, evangelism, prayer walks, house visits, and trekking to small villages in the mountains to support and encourage the local churches there.
There are a variety of opportunities to serve with our ministry partner, Bible for the World in India. Your team may minister to unreached people groups in the area or teach and lead devotions at the ministry’s schools and seminary. You may find yourself assisting with building projects and helping to facilitate programs for the Meitei churches in the area. There will also be a large emphasis on visiting villages and building relationship. It will be a busy and fruitful month!
A large part of this journey is growing in your walk with Christ. We desire to model the way Jesus discipled his followers. Mentors, coaches, and fellow Racers will disciple you, while you serve, love, and disciple others.
You’ll spend the first few days of your trip at a training camp here at World Race headquarters in North Georgia.
You’ll get to experience raw Christian community as you travel, serve, and encourage each other. Once you officially join the Race, you will be invited to a private Facebook group to begin getting to know your squad.
We’ll provide coaching, video tutorials, scripts, and ideas for fundraising plus a free fundraising course and a blog so you can tell your story and accept donations. We also have structured deadlines to help you reach your goal.
Our commitment to risk management includes internal and external teams who constantly monitor and manage risk and create contingency plans as needed.
Our amazing Parent Ministry provides resources and communication so your parents feel supported and informed while you’re on the field.
