My name is Kacie and I am from a really small town in Alabama. I did the Race back in July 2015 and because I think it’s impossible to pick just one favorite country I am going to say that South America and Europe are my favorite parts of the world. I enjoy finding secret streets for photography while holding a nice coffee in my hand from a coffee shop that not many people know about.
In Cambodia, you will have the opportunity to partner with two incredible ministries. The University of Nations is an English school where you and your team will get to teach. You will also have the chance to visit people’s homes in the local village and build relationships. Or you may work with Ezra Ministries and teach English as a way to build relationships and share about Jesus. You will get to help with clean up and renovations and assist with various painting projects and more! With both ministries, you may have opportunities to share testimony, preach, worship and intercede on a weekly basis!
In Thailand, your team will join Place of Grace Ministries. Deeply involved in their community, you will jump right into some incredible opportunities. Place of Grace runs children’s clubs, youth groups, a food bank, and groups for children and teenagers interested in learning more about God. You and your team will learn and experience what sustainable ministry impact looks like as you join their work in the Mahathai communities. Join the mission to see lives transformed by the grace of God!
A large part of this journey is growing in your walk with Christ. We desire to model the way Jesus discipled his followers. Mentors, coaches, and fellow Racers will disciple you, while you serve, love, and disciple others.
