Step Into Your Calling. (Alumni)
You want to live a life that matters. You want to feel significant, empowered, and for your life to count for something. You read about the way the followers of Jesus lived in the first century, and you long for that kind of life -- where living out your faith means hearing the voice of God and changing people’s lives.
You want to go to the next level with God. You want a changed life.
Adventures in Missions has taken more than 115,000 people on mission trips around the world. Through various short and long-term programs, Adventures In Missions helps people from all walks of life discover the world, who Jesus is, and what Jesus has called them to: making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and being his witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1).
Imagine experiencing firsthand how to listen to the voice of God, serve others in high-need ministry contexts, and make a real, tangible difference in the lives of others.
If you want to join a Christ-centered community committed to doing what the first generation of disciples did, then it’s time for you to join us in...
Less than 90 miles from the United States lies the largest island in the Caribbean, Cuba. It has the second largest population in the region, and before the US Embargo of 1960, was one of the most advanced and prosperous nations in Latin America.
Officially, Cuba is a secular nation. There is no national religion, although about 59% of the population would consider themselves Catholic. There is no organized faith. While it isn't illegal to be a Christian in Cuba, until recently they couldn’t openly share their faith. Churches could not build church buildings, but they were free to meet in their homes. The Gospel has been expanding on the island through the underground church over the course of the last 50 years. The US Department of State estimates around 10,000 house churches exist on the island, and Protestant churches have been growing at an unprecedented rate.
Adventures in Missions began sending teams to Cuba in 2012 and what we found was a nation hungry for Christ and a growing church inviting us to partner with them.
Our teams partner with Cristo Centro International, who raises and sends out pastors and missionaries to plant churches throughout Cuba and the rest of the world. Cristo Centro’s focus is on church planting and discipleship, and it’s through that discipleship that they can send out missionaries from Cuba. We are looking for ministry partners that are willing help us equip Cuban missionaries and assist in their long-term church planting goals.

God is calling you to journey with Him, to share His love with the nations and establish His Kingdom on earth. Will you join Him in Cuba?
There are over one million Cuban refugees (legal and illegal) living in the USA, mainly from the white middle and upper classes and predominantly Catholic. Pray that they will not be victims of the temptations offered by the “free” society they sought so desperately. Pray that the Cuban diaspora might also find Christ and have a redemptive influence on their nation of origin. Pray that their faith might shape their views and approaches to their home country.
