World Race Exposure: Indonesia
Semesters Mission Trip
Are you praying about going on Gap Year or the World Race, but not sure if it's right for you? World Race Exposure was designed for you.
During this month-long trip, you’ll meet up with an existing World Race team ministering in Indonesia, gaining a life-changing perspective of what it's like on the field.
Serve beside them and soak up the way they experience the world. There you will partner with Racers as they bring the hope of Jesus into places ravished by hopelessness, destitution, and poverty.
Step into a deeper understanding of what it means to live in authentic community. Pick Racers' brains. Hear their stories. Preach the kingdom of God alongside them. One of the Racers will actively walk along side you and disciple you for the month you join them on the field.
When serving with a World Race Squad, watch your life and ministry quickly collide as you live and work amongst the people of Indonesia.
Composed of over 17,000 islands, Indonesia is the largest island nation on earth.
Though it has the fourth largest population in the world, barely a third of Indonesia’s islands are inhabited. Indonesia’s motto of “many, yet one,” refers to its incredible diversity as a symbol of its unity. Over 700 languages are spoken throughout the country, which is the largest Muslim country in the world.
Will you share the unifying love of Jesus in this diverse country?
"This was by far the best team for me! I felt so loved and accepted and I now have 6 new awesome, super close friends!!" -Malaysia WR Exposure Participant
“The leaders did an amazing job. I felt like I was being pushed to think beyond the box I had kept not only my faith but God in.”-Peru WR Exposure Participant
"Having two very eager and willing girls join our team for a month was a refreshment to the team's spirits. We were reminded of the way we felt at the beginning of the race and it reignited our fire. It was also really cool to share with them the things we have learned and grown in since being on the field. I personally wasn't aware of how far I had come until conversations I had with the girls."-World Racer, WR Exposure Point Person, Malaysia.
Note : this trip is not open to friends or family members of Racers on these Squads. You may choose to travel with a different Squad if you’re still interested in the World Race Exposure trip. Exact dates will be determined based on when the World Race teams are traveling.
