You want to live a life that matters. You want to feel significant and empowered. You read about the followers of Jesus, and long for that kind of mission — where living out your faith means hearing the voice of God and changing lives.
You want to go to the next level with God. You want a community centered on Christ.
Adventures in Missions has taken more than 115,000 people on mission trips around the world. Through our short and long-term programs, we help and train people from all walks of life to discover the world, who Jesus is, and what Jesus has called them to: to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and be his witness to the ends of the earth (Acts 1).
Experience firsthand the voice of God, serve others in high-need ministries, and make a real, tangible difference in the lives of others.
If you want to join a Christ-centered community committed to doing what the first generation of disciples did: sharing the Gospel, feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and hearing the voice of God... then it’s time for you to join us in...
From the 200 foot cliffs of Cabo Rojo to the ancient streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico is known for its exotic beaches and relaxed Caribbean culture. However, life on this island is not what you see in the travel magazines. Almost half of the population lives below the poverty line and struggle to find jobs. As you can imagine, the people of Puerto Rico struggle greatly with hopelessness.
Will you share the hope of Jesus in Puerto Rico?
You may spend time with children while hosting VBS in the local community.
You could help with work projects and minister to those affected by the hurricane.
You will live your faith as you explore the wonders of Puerto Rico, asking the Lord for direction while swimming at the beach, diving in the ocean, visiting a coffee plantation, and shopping in the local markets. We like to say, "Life is ministry."
God is calling you to journey with Him, to share His love with the nations and establish His Kingdom on earth. Will you join Him in Puerto Rico?
Pray for Puerto Rico
Along with the devastation left by the hurricanes, the conflict within Puerto Rico’s political identity has divided the nation. Independence, US statehood, or the current arrangement of the Commonwealth are all options, but most people seem content with the status quo. The biggest problem may be, however, the high levels of corruption that plague local government. Pray for wise governance and decisions geared toward the best interests of the islands’ inhabitants.
