Adventures in Missions has taken more than 115,000 people on mission trips around the world. Through various short and long-term programs, Adventures helps people from all walks of life discover the world, who Jesus is, and what He has called them to: making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and being His witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1).
You want to do something that matters. You want to feel empowered and to make an impact on the world around you. You read about the way the followers of Jesus lived in the first century, and something in you is longing to do more – to live out your faith, hear the voice of God, and display His love to those who need it.
You want to go deeper in your relationship with God. You want to see lives changed.
Imagine experiencing firsthand how to listen to the voice of God, serve others in high-need ministry contexts, and make a real difference in the lives of others.
If you want to join a Christ-centered community committed to doing what the first generation of disciples did, then it’s time for you to join us in…
With nearly a sixth of the world's population, India is home to 29 languages, some of the spiciest food on the planet, and a highly segregated wealthy and poor class. Thanks to the ancient caste system, crimes of social injustice, discrimination, forced prostitution, and human trafficking occur daily. Baby girls are often killed and abandoned, simply because of the financial burden on their families.
Your team will serve in Southern India with one of our strategic ministry partners, Sarah's Covenant Homes. Part of India Christian Ministries, Sarah's Covenant Homes cares for over 160 children with special needs throughout Southern India. Some children come to SCH simply malnourished; others come with severe disabilities and health challenges.
Administrative Help: With over 160 children, keeping up with medical and legal files is a full time job. Simply updating files, transferring information, or other basic administrative tasks is a big help that you can be a part of.
Work Projects: From washing walls to installing a swing set, you might be asked to clean, paint, or perform light maintenance around the property. Doing this takes a the weight off the shoulders of the staff who live and care for these children around the clock.
Relational Ministry: The foster families, missionaries (and their kids), and Indian staff (nurses and grandmothers, known as "ayahs) provide for the basic needs of the children. They need to laugh and be encouraged, to have someone share stories with them.
Children’s Ministry: Maybe it's joining preschool time on the roof, Circle Time at Jubilee house (for older girls and young adults), or simply caring for a baby — you'll be able to share God's love with each child you see. You'll discover that despite any physical or mental disability, each and every child is so full of the ability that really matters: understanding, receiving, and giving love.
You and your team will stay at the host housing with access to bathrooms, showers, electricity, clean water, and wifi.
God is calling you to journey with Him, to share His love with the nations and establish His Kingdom on earth. Will you join Him in India?

Training Christian workers is an important need that is immediately urgent and essential in the long term. The life and health of the Church depend on the proper development of pastors, teachers, evangelists and missionaries. In churches, poor discipling and lack of teaching and modelling of biblical life and leadership are problems.
