Famous for its surfing, canopy tours, and of course, the coffee, Nicaragua is a land of adventure.
The poorest nation in Central America, almost 80% of Nicaraguans live on less than $2 a day. More than half the population lives beneath the poverty line.
One in four Nicaraguans is starving or suffering from malnutrition.
The people of Nicaragua need the encouragement of knowing they are seen and loved by God.
While in Nicaragua, you will partner with an all-boys Bible school focusing on educating and discipling boys ages 9-15 in a rural community, as well as reaching out to their families.
Kids Ministry: Your team will partner with the school and with trade classes (like leather works and sewing).
Sports Ministry: You'll play soccer and communicate the love of Jesus through a child's favorite language: fun.
Community Outreach/Intercession: Your team could prayer walk throughout the community, work with Mercy ministries with donation distribution, and go on home visits, sharing God's love with families living nearby.
This trip is for your student ministry if:
Your students love playing with kids
Your students enjoy Latin American culture, speak Spanish, or would love to learn
Your students love coffee
Your students love to play soccer
You want to challenge your students to grow in their faith while sharing God's love
Will you share God's love with the children of Nicaragua?
