Shine a light in the darkness in Thailand. You’ll connect with the Adventures in Missions base in Thailand, joining long-term missionaries and their local ministry partners in sharing the Gospel with unreached people. Connect with other cultures to understand God’s unique plan for their lives and engage in relevant evangelism. Spend your summer following the example of established missionary teams in truly living out the Great Commission.
Thailand is known by many as “The Land of Smiles”. Though an alluring tourist destination, Thailand’s glimmering cities and sandy beaches are marred by the dark reputation of sex trafficking and sex tourism. Nearly 90% of the population is unreached with the Gospel.
Here you will have the opportunity to reveal the truth of Jesus to a deeply unreached country by helping train and encourage local believers to share the Gospel with their neighbors and plant churches, which will multiply to more churches. You will intercede for those trapped in human trafficking through prayer walks and come alongside organizations that are helping rescue and restore those caught in the sex trade industry.
Adventures in Missions base in Thailand has a large network of ministry partners. Located in the heart of Chiang Mai, local culture and tourism merge for endless opportunities to be an example of the love of God. These missionaries work with local partners to support the body of Christ in Thailand and help to plant churches, provide opportunities, and meet needs within the community.
We have an experienced risk management team. They monitor political, health, weather, and other risks in the regions where we serve. We continue to confidently plan impactful trips and adjust when necessary. We won’t launch a trip that isn’t up to our standards of safety. In 2020, we canceled our international trips due to safety and travel restrictions with COVID-19 and gave options to our participants to join us domestically or defer to a later date. We currently feel confident launching this trip. If we have to cancel this trip, or you don’t feel comfortable going, the money you’ve raised can be applied to a different or future trip within the next calendar year.
We want you to have a new experience with Jesus that dramatically encourages your relationship with Him. God has things to say to you! During our mission trips, we intentionally spend time to listen.
More than just setting up a trip, we want to become your partners in ministry.
The Holy Spirit is already doing a great work in your group; it’s our role to understand your needs and come alongside what God is already doing in a unique way.
All of our ministry partners, both overseas and domestic, have a history of excellence in hosting short-term mission teams.
All of our Project Leaders have been well trained and are specifically prepared to lead each group.
More than just designing an experience for your group, we work with ministry partners that have a long-term plan for sustainability. Your team will come alongside these efforts and can be confident that your service is actually helping.
It’s important to us that your group has an opportunity to connect with Jesus and what He’s doing, both around the world and here in the United States. It’s just as important to us that your experience happens in the context of a plan for sustainability. Our long-term missionaries and ministry partners are doing fantastic work every day. Your short-term mission trip will be specifically designed to support that effort while inspiring your group’s relationship with Jesus.
